Tutoring pre-exposures content

One aspect and an advantage of getting tutoring for a child or teen who does not find a subject easy is that the tutor can explain the content before the teacher covers the topic in school. In my experience, if a student has been struggling in the past and then gets pre-exposure of the material during tutoring they are able to follow the school lessons. This then reinforces their knowledge and understanding and enables them to work through exercises and problems with confidence.

If your child is struggling, don't wait too long to get them help. It is amazing what tutoring can do for a child's self-esteem and parents of past students have been telling me that their child's increased confidence and success in maths has filtered through to their other subjects.
